Security Personnel Management
Providing good security at your theatre doesn't necessarily mean the use of security personnel. Security officers are normally utilized at theatres in high crime areas or where security problems are prevalent or foreseeable. This is done to reduce or eliminate the danger of violent incidents and to show "reasonable care" in the event of civil litigation.
Dealing with the wide range of security providers and law enforcement can be an intimidating experience. A theatre manager responsible for hiring security services is at a disadvantage at determining the security needs because the security vendor or police officer are more familiar with the security function than is the manager.
