Over the past fifteen years, we've conducted on-site workshops in effective Incident Report Writing techniques to theatre managers. We welcome an opportunity to work with your theatre managers.
TSC offers an Incident Report Writing workshop where managers will learn how to focus their thoughts and convey them in a professional manner. Before the workshop, participants submit a writing sample to the instructor. During the program, they rewrite their samples based on the material learned in class. Rewriting their own work enables them to see how much clearer and more persuasive their writing becomes when they apply the principles taught in class.
Incident Reports are usually prepared by theatre management to record security/safety incidents at their theatre. These reports must contain vital information that allows for corrective action and facilitate decision making. The material must be presented in a well organized format to enable the reader to easily comprehend the information. These reports are often used to defend the theatre during litigation and therefore need to be accurate and complete.
