ROBERT COHEN began his career in the Motion Picture Exhibition Industry in New York when he joined the Auditing Department of Loews Theatres in 1974. During the last twenty years, he directed the Internal Audit Department for Loews Cineplex Entertainment as Vice President of Auditing responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring compliance with the internal control policies and procedures.
GERARD CIEREMANS began his career in law enforcement and subsequently earned his law degree. In 1983 he became Manager of Corporate Security/Safety for Loews Corporation in New York, handling case management of investigations, security/safety training programs. During the last fifteen years, he directed the security/safety operations for Loews Cineplex Entertainment as Vice President of Security/Safety.
Working with senior decision makers, they implemented security, safety, loss prevention and audit programs for multiple locations in the U.S. and Canada, significantly reducing losses, accidents and injuries. These programs were instrumental in lowering the cost of claims and maintaining low insurance premiums.
